The Industry Day proved quite profitable for some of our members. Not only was there the usual pattern bargains, trims galore and knitting yarns for bargain basement prices, but the very first lucky door prize was claimed by one of our members, with other members picking up prizes as the draw continued.
June's meeting followed on from last month where we took a basic t-shirt pattern, made a few design changes, and ended up with a totally different look. Several members continued to work on their modified T's in preparation for our Christmas in July unveiling. Denise has already finished a crossover top using this method, has another ready to go and plans to wear one of her new tops to our next meeting ... way to go, Denise! Looking forward now to next month with Christmas in July, and the mystery project organised by Gloria (our leader).
